There was much fun to be had there. Mike & Berni have some of the best guest accommodations with our own private room and bath in a finished basement -- and a pool / ping-pong table. What more could you ask for? Especially when you compare Mike's (USAF Academy Grad) to stuff at Ron's (ROTC Grad) -- you can tell the difference.

Mike also was well equipped for rocket launching. We found a great field at a nearby school where we could launch untested model rockets within 50 feet of the nearest unsuspecting child -- way to go Mike! Dom and I were very careful to make sure Mike got into the pictures and had fingerprints on every rocket -- just in case of an 'accident' investigation! "We don't know - we were with him!" Here is a great launch sequence of our favorite model, the White Monster! It's body tube was from Reynold's Wrap, the fins are made of cardboard (reinforced with masking tape and string), and the nose cone from crushed masking type covered with contact paper -- that's ingenuity for you!
